It’s been a long hard road in this lonely world, -

This lonely world -; - Without you…

I’ve tried and tried to stand up tall -; -

But, the ground itself just seems to fall, -

This lonely world -; - Around me…

All I want is to be who I am….!

But, I keep thinking of what might have been…

Did you know…?

Did you even know? -; - This about me…?

I stand alone with open arms…

(About this poem: I know it sounds sad, and it is simply an extension of my sorrow …It was written as a message toward GOD, my parents, and to those that have beautifully graced my life. Some of them may have left me, in this world…but I still feel their existence!)
